A visionary technocrat and inspiring father, DADA, as he was fondly called, was a true DADA in his field. A visionary technocrat in civil engineering, he dedicated his life to innovating building materials that not only advanced the industry but also contributed positively to society.
A reputed name in the AAC industry, he set the standard and developed green products (AAC blocks) in India. He was also instrumental in promoting SIPOREX technology in India and was credited with setting up and scaling many AAC plants both in India and abroad. He also trained numerous industry leaders in the country.
He was more than a guiding light — he was a relentless force of determination and innovation for CITADEL. He taught us resilience, and that was reflected in how we, as a group, diversified our product basket and included mortar and plaster during COVID times. Even in tougher times, his inspiration motivated us to face calamities with courage and transform challenges into opportunities.
His inspiration propelled us to foray into new ventures like hospitality and other allied markets, pushing us to explore uncharted territories and thrive against the odds.
